Atlanta Local 225 has been serving the Atlanta area since the late 1800's. Through the years as technology has
advanced, Local 225 has adapted to innovative ideas which benefit our Signatory Contractors. We currently have a membership
of over 1500 members, working directly with over 75 of Atlanta's best union contractors. Over time, Local 225 has assisted
in many project in our city. Most notable, and recent would be the airport expansion. We also are instrumental
in keeping the 5 power plants here in the metro area operational. We have even played significant roles in the construction
which housed the 1996 Olympic Games. As time goes on, and with the help of our organizers, we hope to gain more of the
market share here in Atlanta. With a solid work force of trained journeyman, and the up and coming educated apprentices,
Atlanta Local 225 has laid the foundation for many successful years to come.
