Apprenticeship Training:
FULLY TRAINED CARPENTER + WORK ETHIC = EMPLOYMENT

The Atlanta Joint Apprenticeship Training Center is an Accredited apprenticeship school with many diverse programs available for study.  As one of the largest training facilities, we offer exclusive hands on training in commercial construction.  We strive to educate the next generation of Journeyman Carpenters here in Atlanta.  We do this through diversity, and productivity while implementing state of the art workforce strategies to all apprentices.  Our goal is to generate a well rounded knowledgeable Journeyman Carpenter.

All New Applicants wanting to join The Joint Apprenticeship Training Center will need to contact Chris Morrison or James Campbell to schedule an appointment and a free diagnostic exam.

All members of Local Union 225 can attend classes at the Joint Apprenticeship Training Center (JATC) for FREE. If you are interested in becoming an Apprentice, after you have become a member of Local 225, you may apply to our JATC program.  The Joint Apprenticeship Training Center will schedule you for a diagnostic exam so you can be assigned to the appropriate group.  You must be a member in good standing of Local Union 225 to join the program and must remain a member in good standing to remain enrolled in the program.  Please contact Chris Morrison or James Campbell to schedule a test or get information about classes.  You do not have to be an apprentice to receive valuable training and industry updates.  We encourage Journeyman members to take full advantage of continuing education to increase their skills and knowledge. This continued training can help you become more productive on the jobsite which will make you a valuable asset that any company would like to have on their payroll.

PLEASE NOTE:

You will need to bring a VALID SOCIAL SECURITY CARD & VALID GEORGIA DRIVER'S LICENSE/ID.   You will also need to bring some form of payment in the method of CASH, CHECK, MONEY ORDER, or VISA/MASTERCARD.
