Scaffold Erecting

OSHA has mandated in 29 CFR 1926.451 (f)(7) that "Scaffolds shall be erected, moved, dismantled, or altered only under the supervision and direction of a competent person qualified in scaffold erection, moving, dismantling or alteration. Such activities shall be performed only by experienced and trained employees selected for such work by the competent person." To help meet this criteria, Atlanta Carpenters along with our signatory contractors have created an entire program to develop an all around Scaffold Builder. This program exceeds OSHA mandates, and is designed to produce a builder fluent in all types of scaffolds including QES, Cuplok, Safway, and Tube and Clamp. With rigorous classes in layout, legload capacities, familiarizations, and boilers along with an extensive safety program, our builders are the safest, most productive scaffold builders in the southeast.
